At the end of July Grammy Rachel came to visit. Here are some of the fun things we did while she was here.
Played in the sprinklers to help cool off on a hot day.
Strawberries are the best. Messy too.
Look Mom, I'm climbing the fire pole.
Riding on the train at the farmers market
The alligator was his favorite to ride.
Hazel is showing her new shoes to Cooper but he doesn't seem to be paying attention. He's not really into shoes unless they are fast running shoes. Sorry Hazel, don't take it personally. He's just a boy.
On the weekends while Grammy was here Uncle Craig came to visit.
Uncle Craig is so silly and fun to play with. Even more fun to jump and climb on.
And he helps Cooper do all kinds of silly tricks.
Who would have thought that playing with kitchen tongs would be so much fun. Cooper played with them for over an hour. Good to know we have something inside our house other than the millions of toys he has that will entertain him.
We tried to go to the Pioneer Day parade but Cooper did not like it. Or so he said. We stayed all of 10 minutes and then had to leave because he was screaming and crying that he wanted to go home. It may have been because he was scared his balloon was going to fly away. I guess he didn't trust Grammy to hold on to it tight enough.

Cooper wants to be just like the big boys and play basketball. They were nice enough to let him take a turn shooting the ball.
When Daddy's shoulders get tired there is always Grammy's.
Holding Mommy and Daddy's hands on the walk home from the park.
Helping Grammy make Mommy's birthday cheese cake.
While cooking, it's always a good idea to taste test, especially if it's a 1/4 cup of sugar!
Cooper and Grammy driving the fire truck at the Treehouse museum.
Cooper played with the farm table for over an hour.
Paul and I went out to dinner for my birthday at the Bistro 258. Yum!
Cooper loves eating carrots right from our garden. Too bad they did grow very big.
One day while it was raining Cooper decided he wanted to play outside. He and Daddy are having a wagon race.
Ogden was the host of the international archery competition. To open the competition they had an international food festival. Cooper loved watching all of the dancers and eating the different kinds of food.
And of course he had to push every cross walk button.
Eating strawberry shortcake is best when eaten from Daddy's shoulders.
Happy Birthday Daddy and Aunt Olga. Yum! More cheese cake and blowing out the candles.
Who is that masked elephant?
Eating at Slack Water restaurant in Ogden. What a great idea to eat dinner by the river.
Holding Daddy's hand while waking down to see the river.
Sushi for dinner what a hit with Cooper! He loved using the new chopsticks daddy got for him, although, he never actually could pick up the sushi by himself.
Babushka loved playing with Cooper.
